We are enhancing the security of your ESS account through the introduction of multifactor authentication (MFA) when you access ESS from a personal device.
MFA adds an extra layer of security by requiring a one-time passcode (OTP) in addition to your password when you log in.
When you register, you’ll choose one of the following options to receive or generate your OTP:
- Your work email
- Your personal email
- An authentication app – simply download an app (like Microsoft Authenticator) and scan the QR code on screen to generate your OTP.
If you’ve previously registered using a memorable word you will need to switch to one of the authentication options above by 8 June 2026. Set up MFA now to avoid any disruption and enjoy a smooth, secure login experience.
