What You Need to Do

Now is the time to:

  • Submit anything you haven’t been able to process whilst the system has been unavailable e.g. absences and attendances.
  • Keep on top of any actions in your IBC Portal ‘My Inbox’ app

Do you work for Hampshire and IOW Constabulary, Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service, London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham or Westminster City Council?

If so, you only have a short window to input changes ready for the October payroll deadline. Act quickly to ensure approvals that impact on payroll and submissions, such as absences, attendances and management forms (e.g. manage leaver) are completed in time.

Reporting will not be fully up to date until 6 October

IBC Portal reporting will not be fully up to date as the data is still refreshing post upgrade. We recommend you avoid using reports until Monday 6 October.

Questions?

The way you use ESS, and the IBC Portal will remain largely the same. Where there are some more noticeable differences in the upgraded system you’ll find that our guidance pages have been updated to reflect these changes – so check them out in the first instance. If they can’t answer your question, our advisors are ready to help support you through either the webchat service or the enquiry form.

Did you know? The most common problems users experience aren’t caused by the IBC systems or the S/4HANA upgrade

We recommend accessing our systems through Microsoft Edge.

If you encounter an issue in our systems, we always recommend that you clear your cache and try the process again before contacting us.

Google Chrome has some browser settings which can cause problems with opening PDF documents. If you can’t use Microsoft Edge and need to use Google Chrome, you can take these four steps to resolve this issue:

  1. Paste the following into the Chrome address bar: chrome://flags/#pdf-oopif
  2. Change to ‘Disabled’
  3. Paste the following into the Chrome address bar: chrome://settings/content/pdfDocuments
  4. Change to 'Open PDFs in Chrome'.
