It’s now easier and simpler to shop, create suppliers and purchase goods and services – following a number of key improvements that have now gone live

Supplier Master – (this tile replaces Request Supplier and Request Supplier Change) – making it quicker and simpler to search for and create a supplier

To use this App, search in the ‘App Finder’, via the person icon on the top left of your Portal screen. The App is found in Supplier- Master Data.


  • You can search for, create and amend supplier records through one App
  • Notification after main information has been entered that a supplier already exists with the information provided reducing the number of duplicate records created
  • Tool tips throughout the App to provide extra information during completion
  • Users will only see suppliers relevant to their organisation/s
  • Inbox notifications will inform you of the progress of your request
  • Supplier master requests are visible in My Form List for finance users
  • Anyone who needs to request non-commercial supplier types can request access – via the Portal access request form

Simple and Service Shop – making it quicker and simpler to purchase goods and services


  • Only suppliers relevant to the user’s organisation will be visible - reducing the time taken to raise a cart and avoiding any submission error due to the supplier not being available for use in your organisation
  • Pop-out help text throughout
  • Simplified searching. No longer need to use wildcard searches
  • Contract reference field now available in Simple Shop as well as Service shop
  • Ability to copy rows or fields in Simple Shop – thereby reducing manual input
  • Revenue/Capital default once account assignment category has been selected

Supplier Self Service – making it easier for suppliers to register and self-serve (from 11pm, 1 June 2020)


  • Supplier contacts can link more than one of their supplier records to one contact profile and toggle between them
  • They no longer need to register with separate email addresses for each supplier record they have with the partnership
