P-Card users and approvers: See changes to Smart Data Online Authentication

Oct 1 2021

IF you use or approve P-Card transactions, you will need to bear in mind the following new login procedure.

Following a review of security protocols, RBS is introducing a new way of logging into Smart Data Online (SDOL), where you review and approve p-card transactions. This will be a two factor authentication approach.

On the SDOL log in portal in addition to your username and password you will need to use a one-time passcode (OTP) every time you log in, which will be sent to you by email.

You’ll need to go through an activation process the first time you use the new log in portal. The bank will send you an activation code by email. Once you’ve got it, log on and complete the registration immediately as the code will expire within 48 hours. You will only need to activate your access once.

As the bank will need to contact you more often to check your identity, please can you make sure you keep your contact details up to date at all times.

In the meantime, you can find information about the new log in portal and the registration process at
