Alton ERF proposal
Hampshire County Council, as Waste Planning Authority, is currently considering a major planning application for the development of an Energy Recovery Facility and Associated Infrastructure at Land Off the A31 Nr Holybourne, Alton. All planning application documents are available to view on the Council’s website.
The application has already been subject to an initial period of public consultation in 2020. Further information has now been provided by the applicant under the provisions of the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2017. A public consultation on this new information is currently taking place and will run until the 15 February 2021.
Interested parties and organisations can submit representations on the new information during the consultation period. More information on how to submit comments on a planning application.
Any representations should relate to this new information only. Previous representations have all been processed and reviewed and will be considered when coming to a decision in due course.
Please note: Due to the number of representations currently being received, there may be a short delay before these appear on the website.
It is anticipated that the application will be considered by the Council’s Regulatory Committee in 2021.
